Opportunity Transforming Lives is an organization that provides effective programs and human services to engage, empower, educate, and uplift our community to a higher standard of life. We are committed to establishing economic, community development, and human dignity.
We Believe That We Can Change a Generation, And We Will Change It... One Person at Time
Our Mission is to provide affordable housing for veterans, and seniors. To render financial literacy, youth entrepreneurship, and carpentry training for youths between the ages of 16-24 years old. As well as assist returning citizens and the homeless with re-entry into society as productive citizens.
Our plans are to build a community center.
Our goal is to make a difference in our community not only for a day but for a lifetime. Together lets help to establish economic and community development while enhancing human dignity.
When you choose to give to our organization, your donation makes it possible for OTL to provide our services at no cost to youth, seniors, veterans, and returning citizens. We need your financial support to help us to cover our current services and to expand our reach.
EVERY dollar you donate goes directly to cover program expenses!
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. They make our work possible and help us reach and service hundreds of those in need in our program.
Volunteers are needed to help lead workshops, help provide assistance to seniors who are applying for the programs we offer, provide literacy support to the youth, and serve as lead agents in our organization.
Whether you are looking to volunteer once a week or once a month we are thrilled to have your support whenever you can offer it.
HOUSING:
Our program provides housing and other services to veterans and seniors that will help support and offer resources and the hope they need to successfully achieve their full potential in all areas of their life.
YOUTH PROGRAMS: All youth who participate are offered the opportunity to become trained in carpentry, financial literacy, and youth entrepreneurship.
RETURNING CITIZENS
Providing employment, educational, and supportive services for individuals with criminal records to re-enter society.
